There is no age requirement for the examination however, it is recommended to start at Age 4.
It is a free-theme examination, so candidates may draw anything they like. However, the theme of the masterpiece must be specified upon submission on the CAEB website.
You can use any media, including mixed media. However, the Fine Art Category has specific requirements such as pencil sketching, acrylic painting, or watercolour painting.
Yes, all Examination Categories must start with Grade 1 in order to proceed to the next Grade.
Yes, you are allowed to register for multiple categories or grades at once. However, each category must start from Grade 1, and the examination fee will be charged based on the number of examinations you register.
Not necessary. candidates just required to obtain at least 5 CAEB Certificates from any Examination Category or Grade.
You may attend the Final Examination (Online/Physical) to obtain a ‘Professional Certificate in Visual Art Skill’ after completing at least 5 CAEB Certificates and meeting the age requirement of 16 years old and above.
This certification is recognised by Warnborough College England UK, signifies proficiency in Visual Art Skill and also allows you for further studies for an Advanced Diploma at any colleges under Warnborough College. Next, You can continue your studies at the University of South Wales, England for Bachelor’s Degree.
No. Demonstration of skills is not required for all candidates. However, selected candidates may need to attend “Skill Verification Examination” to demonstrate their skills either online or in person in the presence of an Examiner.
It is randomly selected; only selected candidates are required to attend the examination.
The examination Fee starts from £58 and may vary for different grades. You may email us for the CAEB Country Representative to provide you the actual fee amount.
The CAEB Country Representative will email you the Price & payment method after the masterpiece submission. The payment method is either via Bank Online Transfer or Paypal depending on the country. All Examination Fee must be submitted before the Due Date given otherwise will be disqualified for examination.
The hardcopy of the CAEB Certificate will be posted from England UK to the respective CAEB Country Representative and send to your Mailing Address 3 months after the Art Exhibition in England.
The examiners are a group of professionals such as Art Teachers or Visual Artists who assess the masterpieces based on the Grading Requirements provided by CAEB.
The candidate will receive a letter specifying areas for improvement instead of a certificate. Candidates are allowed to re-sit for the examination and are required to repay the examination fee.
Only candidates with a High Distinction Result will receive an Invitation Letter from CAEB to attend the CAEB Art Exhibition. However, members of the public can request tickets from the organiser to attend the exhibition via info@caeb.world
Yes, schools or Art Studios are welcome to submit on behalf of their students. We allow group submissions via email, which is less hassle compared to individual submissions online. Kindly email us at info@caeb.world for special arrangements
Art studios that submit more than 50 candidates a year will receive a CAEB Certificate, acknowledging their efforts in motivating children to explore their artistic potential and nurturing young artists. Additionally, studios that submit more than 50 candidates a year, with at least 10 students achieving a Distinction Result, will be awarded the CAEB Outstanding Centre Plaque. These achievements enhance the studio’s brand for international recognition by England UK
The CAEB Masterpiece Album features the artworks of candidates who achieved Distinction and Merit results. Candidates with Credit results will have their names listed in the album for recognition. This album will be available in a downloadable softcopy format on the CAEB Official Website three months after the Art Exhibition
